Easter Card Makes Me Happy

I made these cards tonight and they just make me happy! Everything is from Stampin' Up! (of course), Pretty in Pink cardstock, designer print paper from the hostess pack, ribbon, photo accessory and stamps (All Holidays and A Good Egg). I have been working on some cards for a craft fair this weekend and I just like the way they turned out.

Jennifer's Gift

So, I didn't realize that today was my sister-in-law's birthday! I had some cards lying around as a gift, but I needed to make a birthday card and this is what I came up with.......

I also stamped white tissue paper to use for wrapping and made a matching jumbo paper clip. I sure had a lot of fun making it, so I sure hope she likes it!

Chili D-A-W-G

With a name like Chili you would think he would know what snow is, however, this was his first experience with snow and he really wasn't sure what to do with it! There is something falling from the sky at me, so I'll look at it, but oh wait, it keeps getting in my eyes. He wasn't too sure he liked the snow, but was intrigued by it!

But this is our 1 year old lab mix (not sure with what, we think pitbull) Chili Davis (from the SF Giants) but we just call him Chili, Chill dog, knuckle-head, etc...... He is such a fun, loving dog. We really lucked out with him! He was a rescue pup and got him when he was about 10 weeks old after somebody abandoned him. He is super friendly and just LOVES to play and catch his frisbee!

Stampin' Up!

So, I have officially become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator! YEAH for me! I just really enjoy making cards and projects both for myself and as gifts and thought this would be a great way to be able to do that and make some money while I am at it! Check out my website http://www.kerilinn.stampinup.net/ for some great ideas and to take advantage of some great promotions right now. FREE STAMPS! Yep, I said it, FREE STAMPS!

My very first customer

My friend Lindsay is my very first (and only) customer for home-made cards. She lives in Mexico and owns a wedding boutique hotel in Puerto Vallarta. Well, she is as addicted to giving cards as I am to making them, so we make a great team! She has an order for about 6 sets of cards and 20 individuals! Here are a couple that I have come up with. All the cards are made with Stampin' Up products, which I am addicted to too!

Crocheted Baby Blanket

My friend also bought this baby blanket from me as a gift for her friend. It took me a while to make and I started getting dizzy from all the stripes and going back and forth and back and forth, although I think it turned out pretty cute. :)

Cards Cards Cards

Here are some cards that I made for a friend to give to her friend, she wasn't sure what she wanted so I made a couple of options. The "crib notes" card was a set of 6 as a gift for the new mom.

Hoarding

So, I have noticed that I like to buy fun, pretty, fancy, neat, cool things; but I don't want to use them! I want to save them for something but what? I have no idea what I am saving them for because I buy them so I can use them. But everytime I go to use one of my "unique" items (that I could actually buy again) I hesitate and find a really good reason NOT to use it! Is it too late for a New Year's Resolution? There's always next year........

Beginning......beginner......

So, I am beginning alot of things these days, first I have started stamping and card making and I LOVE LOVE LOVE (to quote Oprah) it! Now, I find that all the stampers/card makers/scrappers all have blogs and figured I would jump right in and start that too! I don't really know what I am doing on either one, but I know I am going to have a lot of fun figuring it out! Wish me luck!!!!
